My pc is being a freaken bitch!! Been backing up all my crap! I have been without net for a while... I hate this... Using B-G's PC... Kind of wierd as its not a desktop... Now we are really considering getting the MAC. Just this morning he just touched my pc and it freaken shut down... now that is some serious shit! I will back up and call Microbytes, lets see what lame excuse they come up with. I never ever buy another pc from them! Plus, its time to change to something else... I think I will look into LINUX! Ragtooth, helped me with my PC woes... That was so nice of him. As I'm so paranoid of getting anything and everything on my PC. Yeah, I get the blue screen of death once in a while, ok more when I reboot the freaken computer. I have taken it to microbytes like 6 times and they found a virus the first time, changed the hard drive 2nd time, on the 3rd changed the memory, 4rd and 5th they said nothing was wrong, and finally on the 6th they change the the mini fan in the back... But they said nothing was wrong... They put it through prime95 and 3dmark2001 which they told me about and left them on my pc... I have no clue what the hell those things are but apparently if I am not mistaken they are programs to really put stress on the CPU. I think called benchmark programs?

Software installation disabled:

In Firefox 1.0.x the option to allow web sites to install software is found under "Tools -> Options -> Web Features -> Allow web sites to install software". Starting in Firefox 1.5 the option has been removed from the user interface (UI). The software installation option must be enabled to allow installation of themes, extensions and certain plugins that use the XPInstall method.

If you click a web site's "Install" link and you see a message bar that says "Software installation is currently disabled. Click Edit Options... to enable it and try again.",

* Firefox 1.0.x: Click the "Edit Options" button to open the Web Features preferences panel, place a checkmark in front of "Allow web sites to install software" and try again.
* Firefox 1.5: If you previously disabled this option and then updated to Firefox 1.5, the disabled setting will be carried over. Since the option to enable software installation no longer exists in the UI, you will need to use about:config to reset the "xpinstall.enabled" preference to the default "true" value (bug 310737). These step-by-step instructions should fix the problem:

1. Type about:config in the Location Bar and hit enter.
2. Type xpi in the Filter box and find xpinstall.enabled in the list.
3. Make sure its value is set to "true" (double-click will toggle).

have been diagnosed with tennis elbow and carpal tunnel! Been taking Advil and Tylenol to reduce the pain. And some other med to reduce the inflamation. It's due to excessive PC usage. Been cleaning my Poddy... Fixing all the songs and arranging them properly and getting the lyrics at corichan. That site has major lyrics for Jpop/Kpop. Just great! Also wikied Utada...

Toos and Materials Needed [ x : x ]

* Slats of lattice, pulled apart or slats of wood of the same size painted black
* Rice paper
* Latex paint
* Finishing nails
* Exacto knife
* Staple gun
* Small jigsaw
* Set square

Getting Started:
Measure the width and length of the window you will be covering.
Cut 2 slats of wood a bit longer than the length of the window, and 2 slats a bit longer than the width of the window.
Set these out on your work surface, and align them to form a rectangle or square. Nail the slats in place - check that the angles are all 90 degrees by using a set square.
Find the center of the frame's length, as well as the center of the frame's width, and mark them.
Place the vertical center slat, and secure in place with finishing nails. Ditto with the horizontal center slat.
Add as many slats as you wish in the same manner, to form a simple grid forming squares no smaller than 6" x 6".
Flip over the frame. Starting from one side of the frame, place a length of the rice paper over the back of the frame. Attach it with a staple gun, and trim off the excess by cutting along the center of one of the slats with an Exacto knife. Repeat this process until the back of the frame is neatly covered with rice paper. Turn over.
Once the whole piece is finished, paint over the nail heads with black paint.
Hang to cover the window.

Anise Cookie Recipe - Biscotti Anginetti

Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup anise seeds, finely chopped or ground
* 3 2/3 cups unbleached flour
* 1/4 tsp baking soda
* 1 cup butter, room temperature
* 1 cup sugar
* 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
* 1 egg
* 3 Tbs honey
* 1/3 cup whole milk
* 1 cup confectioners sugar
* 1 tsp water

Directions:
Chop anise seeds finely (I have a pepper grinder filled with anise seeds).
In a bowl mix the flour and baking soda. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in the egg, honey, milk, and anise seeds. Blend in the flour-baking soda mixture.
Cover and allow to rest in a cool place for an hour. Shape dough into rolls about 1/2" in diameter. Pinch off a 4" rope and twist into a figure 8 shape. Place the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove and allow to cool. Mix together the confectioners sugar and water to make a glaze. Drizzle or paint the tops of the cookies with the glaze.
Note: called some times genetti by some Italian Americans.

Anginetti (Italian Lemon Drop Cookies)
Makes 24 cookies [30 minutes 15 mins prep]

Ingredients:
COOKIE
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
* 3 large eggs
* 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
FROSTING
* 3 cups confectioners' sugar
* 1/4 cup water
* 1 teaspoon lemon extract

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. For cookies, cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs and lemon extract and beat well. Add flour, baking powder and salt; Mix well. The dough should be soft and sticky.m With a small cookie scoop, drop dough onto a slightly greased cookie sheet or baking stone, spacing them about 2-inches apart. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until firm and lightly brown. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and allow to cool completely on wire racks.
For frosting, combine confectioners' sugar, water and lemon extract and mix until smooth.
Frost the tops of each cookie with a metal spatula. Allow cookies to dry before stacking.
Store in an airtight container.
NOTE: If you want to freeze the cookies, freeze unfrosted and frost once thawed.

Went to Deco Decouvert (Home Outfitters) and got a trashcan set for the bathroom, a front entrance rug [the cats were all over it like crazy! Need to change it cuz it has a deffect] and 2 cushions that match the bed sets we bought at Ikea last weekend. Still waiting on the sofa covers that we order... Hopefully by Tuesday they will get in and we can change them!!!

Took a shower... Went to bed early...

We have put our clocks ahead. This will be the last time we set our clocks the first week of April as next year we are synchronizing with the US...

B-G will be going to do rounds at the geriactric hospital! :) So no time for going to leave the rug!

Came home and had a few msg from storage places... had to call that the ones we didn't pick and went to get the paper done at PS!! A brand new location, which is sweet!! :)

Spoke to Nori and he came over. Made curry veggies with beef! It was so freaken good! Loved it... stayed up til 3:40 am...
